It is very obvious that Noynoy is leading the Presidential race. I just thought that if ever Noynoy is not the son of late Cory and Ninoy, will Filipinos vote for him or he, himself, will run for presidency??? The problem with us Filipinos is that we always put our emotions first before thinking or looking on what this people have done for our country. "Leadership is not inherited, it is earned". Akala ko matalino na ang mga botante, pero madami pa din ang nagpadala sa surveys, sa dami ng infomercials.. Madami pa din ang bumoto ayon sa diskarte para lamang wag manalo ang kandidatong ayaw nila.. KAunti pa lang ang mga botanteng matalino.. Yung mga pinag-aralan talaga ng mabuti ang mga taong karadapat-dapat maihalal..
Isa pang kagulat-gulat ay ang pagiging 2nd place ni former President Estrada na dati ay napatalsik sa Malakanyang dahil sa kasong Plunder pero heto at madami pa din ang nagpaalipin sa nakaraan.. Akala ko sawa na tayo sa walang kwentang sistema.. Sana mas ibinigay nyo ang boto nyo sa taong mas may nagawa sa bansa.. Sana matuto na tayo.. Tama na ang sisihan.. Kung sino man ang manalo, resulta yan ng boses ng mga nakakarami satin mga Pinoy.. Wala tayong ibang pwedeng sisihin kung wala pa din magbago sa bansa natin kundi tayo din.. Kasi tayo ang mga nagluklok sa mga taong ito..
Ang pwede na lang natin gawin ay suportahan kung sino man ang manalo na Presidente.. Ang pagbabago wala naman yan sa mga leader ng bansa, nasa sa atin pa din yan.. Kung handa na tayo sa pagbabago- simulan natin ito sa sarili.. Hindi uunlad ang bansa kung hindi tayo magkakaisa at walang disiplina..

nakakasawa na...
Sa totoo lang, sawang sawa na ko sa work ko.. Pesteng nursing kasi.. Ang hirap makapasok sa hospital.. Puro na lang volunteers at trainings ang pwede para lang magkaron ng experience.. Tapos kami pa magbabayad nun.. Last year, nagtraining ako sa Quirino Memorial Medical Center and I was assigned sa OB ward for 2 months.. 1k per month ang bayad for the training.. Ikaw na pagod, toxic pa tapos walang sweldo kahit allowance man lang.. This is a very sad reality ngayon sa nursing profession.. Hindi basta lang yung 4 years namin sa college and for passing the board exam tapos ganito lang.. Minsan nakakawalang gana pero iniisip ko na lang na God puts me here because there's a reason.. Maybe I have a mission bakit nya ko pinasa.. To think na thousands are aspiring to pass the board exam and I'm one of those lucky board passers.. Malungkot lang pero siguro sa ngayon lang toh.. Masaya ang Nursing! Masaya maging nurse.. Iba yung fulfillment when you touched others lives.. May buhay kang naisave.. Iba ung feeling kapag nakita mong ok yung pasyente mo or makita mo syang ngumiti.. Iba yung saya kahit mahirap!
Pero ngayon, sawa na ko maging company nurse.. I don't have the right to complain kasi madaming nurses ngayon ang walang trabaho.. Kaya kahit ayaw ko na tiis lang.. Hirap din kasing maging tambay.. Nag-aapply naman kami sa hospitals and abroad pero wala pa ulit bago eh.. Alam ko naman na may plan si God sakin.. Kung hindi pa nya ibigay ngayon siguro hindi pa talaga dapat.. Pero I still hope na sana makahanap ako ng work na stable saka yung masaya yung environment.. Iba kasi pag masaya ka sa ginagawa mo.. Kahit pagod ok lang.. Just like nung nagtraining ako nun sa QMMC kahit walang allowance just for the sake of experience lang, i enjoyed it kasi sobrang lucky ako na mabait yung mga co-trainees na nakasama ko.. Miss ko na sila!!!

Hindi biro maging nurse kasi buhay ang nakasalalay dito.. Malungkot isipin na madami ang naghahangad na magtrabaho sa ibang bansa dahil sa maliit na sahod dito.. Hindi natin sila masisi.. Kaya sana may magawang aksyon dito ang gobyerno!

learnings...
I've learned that whatever happens to your LIFE, it goes on.. Whether it is good or bad, just continue the ride.. I've learned that we should be kind because we never know what kind of battles others are experiencing too.. I've learned that along the way, we might fall but we must have the courage again to stand up and move on.. I've learned that we must give second chances, they deserve it as well us, if it doesn't work, then be it at least we've tried.. I've learned that happiness is something that we should also put an effort too.. It is not something that we can just get in the stores.. I've learned that it's easy to forgive but it's hard to forget.. I've learned that there are points in our lives that we thought we've already matured, but unexpected events would occur to make us realize we still have lots of growing up to do..I've learned that everyday we should reach and touch someone.. I've learned that life is so unpredictable, one day you're happy then next you're sad.. but that's what makes LIFE mysterious but full of lessons to be learned.. Live for today.. It doesn't matter how slowly you go as long as you never stop.. Learn from the past, Live today and Hope for Tomorrow.. :)

Remember, on May 10, vote not for personalities, but rather for achievements...
This coming May 10, it's my first time to practice my right to VOTE. I'm excited and I want to be involved. Sabi nga ng nanay ko, " Sa pagboto lang magiging pantay-pantay ang mga mahihirap at mayayaman". If we want CHANGE then do something! Vote wisely! Don't just believe on infomercials we see on T.V. but rather let's research about these people who are aspiring for the positions and their contributions to our country. We should not only seek for the personal traits (“maka-Diyos,” “mabait,” “hindi corrupt,” etc.) but ideas, visons, plans and programs for the Philippines. I have read an article before and it says there that it’s not true when people say, "Vote ‘cause your vote counts!"--- Partially it's true! But your vote, your ONE vote, won’t count. However, if you read up, engage in intelligent political conversations, blog, use your Facebook status and convince other people to register and collectively support a candidate, then you can make a difference. Before, I go for "GIBO" but after watching some shows that catered forums for these political candidates to discuss their platforms and researching about them and reading blogs, my vote NOW goes to "GORDON". Hindi lang sapat yung galing at talino, good traits na kesyo hindi daw sila magnanakaw at kung sa sobrang hirap ba sila nagsimula. I will give my vote to the one who have done a lot for this country. Saan ka ba tataya sa subok na o sa puro sabi lang ang ginagawa?? Gordon has the knowledge, the skill, the attitude and the will power. Dick Gordon is a proven transformational leader, the real action-man; making possible the seemingly impossible, and simply best known for overcoming great odds. If he doesn't won, at least I will be proud to say that my vote goes to the one who deserves it and not just merely because of popularity.

He also preserved the separation of powers in government and asserted the Senate’s constitutional right and duty to conduct inquiries in aid of legislation against Executive Order No. 464 in Senate, et al. vs. Ermita, G.R. No. 169777, April 20, 2006, and Executive Order No. 1 in Sabio vs. Gordon, et al., G.R. No. 174340, October 17, 2006.
In 2001, he transformed the moribund Philippines Tourism industry: plagued by a negative image of kidnappings and SARS disease and complicated by an era of continued threat of terrorism. As Secretary of Tourism he accomplished this with his campaign: “WOW Philippines! More than the usual!” This resulted to increased tourist arrivals that rejuvenated the industry, becoming the country’s acknowledged fastest way to address poverty and unemployment. In addition, in his capacity as World Tourism Organization (WTO) Commissioner for East Asia and the Pacific in 2002 and Chair of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) for 2003, he became the chief advocate of Third World countries that have been unduly affected in tourism and trade by unfair Travel Advisories imposed by Western governments.
In 1992, he led the successful conversion of the former United States’ naval facility in Subic Bay. He turned it into the Philippines’ primary trade zone. This was when the Philippine Senate rejected a treaty extension ending a century of US military presence in the country. He lobbied in Congress for the passage of a bill he drafted based on an old plan to convert the American naval and air force facilities in Subic and Clark respectively into economic enclaves by the creation of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA).
As founding Chair and Administrator of the SBMA, he inspired an army of 8,000 volunteers who protected and preserved the U.S.$ 8 billion facility. Together with the volunteers, he successfully transformed Subic into a premier investment hub that hosted the 4th APEC Leaders Summit in 1996. By the time he left in 1998, SBMA had over 300 investors including notable American companies: Federal Express, Coastal Petroleum and Enron. It even had British firms, BICC Cables and Shell Exploration as well as Taiwan’s Acer Computers and France’s Thompson Audio. More than 90,000 jobs were created under his leadership.
